I’ve been getting a lot of emails lately asking when [insert random kit] will be back in stock. Right now due to the holidays (Christmas through Chinese New Year) my stock has been pretty depleted. This is good and bad. Good because it means I’m selling kits, bad because I can’t sell what I don’t have. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have a full restock queue and that things won’t be coming back. Just keep in mind that we’re a small company and production takes time. So here’s a little FAQ on the subject:
Short Answer To All: Derek Stenning figures, Ian McQue ships, and FichtenFoo Fish-Subs are all coming back in the next 30-60 days for restocks!
Are you making more of [the kit I want]? Yes! Unless noted on the specific item page, we’ll make more. Some kits are harder to keep in-stock than others due to popularity, but if it’s selling, we’ll make more.
When will [the kit I want]? be back in-stock? The short answer is usually 30-60 days. If something is available for preorder, I’ll usually have the estimated shipping date (+/- 15 days due to production randomness) on the page. If a popular kit sells out or is close to it, I usually have a restock request into my various production vendors for more. If a kit is a slow-seller and sells out, I usually wait longer to make another run so that the more popular and new releases can get done faster.
Did I miss out on [the kit I want]? Never! Unless a master is REALLY damaged, we’ll make more. If the price for an item in the shop is $0.00, that means it has never been released and we’re still pricing everything prior to it’s 1st Edition preorders. It’s a placeholder so that you can use the automated notification feature.
Will you let me know when [the kit I want]? is back in stock? While I can’t manually keep track of all the random requests for the 50+ products I offer AND keep my sanity, each shop page has an email field (or of you’re registered/logged in, a link) to request an automated email when preorder stock is added for that product. Just make sure to whitelist industriamechanika.com in your email spam controls to avoid missing it in a spam box.
