Thanks For The Support!
Seriously… for as well known as we are and as many Facebook Page Likes as we have, sales don’t always match up to that. Help us to continue bringing your the best original model designs by preordering the upcoming items you want, sharing our posts, newsletters, etc with your friends and fellow modelers. Posting build-up (progress and finished) pics is not only helpful to us as far as showing off our products, but helpful to the community as a whole by bringing new modelers into the hobby and helping existing modelers to learn and discover new designs and techniques.
The following preorder products are now in-stock and shipping, or will be shipping the week of November 3rd 2014:

Slightly Delayed »
The Deaths-Head Hawkmoth by FichtenFoo is delayed for a few weeks due to a bad part. The master for the abdomen didn’t take to vacuum-casting really well so is being repaired and cast again. Kits will ship out when the replacement parts arrive. Thanks for your patience!

1/6 Scale Ninja Blades »
I made this Shruiken and Kunai set for use with the TDM Ninja Tortoises I purchased at Wonderfest this spring, but they can be used for any 1/6 scale figure. These photoetched steel throwing stars, knives, and sword blade/guards can be blackened, sharpened and more!
So much to talk about this month! You might have noticed (because I’ve been promoting it!) our new look, especially our completely redesigned store. Also new and upcoming mecha designs by Christophe Desse and Kallamity, disappointing news about iMech going to JerseyFest, and more!
About Our New Look »
For the past 10 days or so I’ve been redesigning the iMech Shop and Blog. (The forum is next!) This update adds a lot of new functionality and improvements to the store, both in look and function. It should be a better shopping experience for everyone with far less bugs than the old shop. The trade-off however is that the store needed to be done from scratch. That means all user accounts for the old store are not accessible in the new store, but so are the hassles of lost password retrieval. The accounts and orders still exist in the old store which I’m keeping for now in an undisclosed location for taking care of existing preorders, but all new accounts and orders will go through the new and improved shop.
We hope you enjoy the new site! It’ll make adding an upcoming, totally secret product line that’s in development a LOT easier. News on that in a few months when it’s further along.

It looks as if Kallamity‘s Briegel is going to be coming to the iMech store after all! So watch this space and subscribe to our newsletter for more news and details about the Briegel!
We have a few Kastor Hovertank kits back in stock. Get them while they last!
Hopper Decals »
We are now offering the decals that come with Calum Watt’s Hopper as a stand-alone product. They’re cool enough to use on a variety of project ideas, or to associate another build-up with your Hopper via markings.
I really wanted to make it to JerseyFest this year, purchased a table, made reservations, but it just wasn’t in the cards. Most don’t realize that I’m a very small business and as such almost everything that needs done is done by me. It piles up. Now factor in that Wonderfest and a few resellers depleted most of my stock that I would had been taking to JF and well… I could either spend the money and drive 6 hours to go to JF and stand behind a table apologizing to everyone, telling them to preorder on our website, or I could do that here and on Facebook and use the saved time and money to do some amazing things. This website redesign is just one of many things I had planned for the summer that I am able to work on now. More coolness is on the way!
But I’m not “a monster” who’s going to leave the attendees at JF hanging. Prove that you were there and I’ll give you free shipping on orders placed after the show between 8.3 and 8.8.2014. The “Best of iMech” trophy will also be awarded there still, just not judged by me as planned. No worries though, the judges are awesome!
Hello again! It’s a good day for news here at iMech with some great preorder and upcoming kit announcements! So without further adieu, let’s get on with it…!
Her Majesty’s Estafette PREORDER »
It’s taken a lot longer than anticipated, but the resin for the Estafette is on its way. I need to finalize the instructions and get them off to print, but otherwise we should be ready to ship around 4.21.2014! Her Majesty’s Estafette by Christophe Desse comes with wheels to do either the mag or photoetch wire wheels, bending jig, 3 figures, and a LOT of finely cast parts. Preorder now to save 5%! Sale Ends 4.20.2014.
Luca Z of Kallamity (see his Kastor here) has been posting progress images of this future iMech bipedal mecha kit for the last few weeks and now it’s official! The WACHTEL is now in the store so you can get notifications and look at preview images while we await a price and official preorder/shipping date.
Hi. How are you? Good? Awesome. Now that that’s over, let’s get onto the news! This time: SASHA’S BACK! Yup! Also finished pics of FichtenFoo’s Sky Marks and Luca Z’s Kastor build-ups as well as a Rook preorder update.
Sasha The Welding Girl in 1/35 and 1/32! »
Sasha the Welding Girl is back in 1/35 and 1/32 scale looking better than ever thanks to a new caster for the project. Get her while she lasts!
The Rook and Pawn Brigade masters have been printed and are at the caster. As soon as they send me the quote I can get the final price together and start preorders. I should be able to start preorders this Friday, Feb 15th at noon EST if all goes well. If not, then Tuesday, Feb 19th at noon EST will be our make-up date.
Greetings from beyond the… something… something! Time for another iMech news update.
Slight Red Star 47 Delay »
Terribly sorry as I just found out yesterday… I was expecting Red Star 47 resin around February 5th, but the delivery has been pushed a week or two back to around the 10th-15th of February. You can thank the flu for this one unfortunately. But I’ll have the boxes labeled, prefilled with etch, decals, instructions and wire and ready to go as soon as the resin is in-hand.
The Ground Crew and Pilot sets are still on-time and non-bundled orders of those will go out as planned.
Kallamity’s Kastor (on-time!) »
Just an update that the resin is on-time and the Kastor preorders will be shipping on February 6th!
Hello all from chilly Pittsburgh, PA! Such a change from last week when I was chilling in the Caribbean on a cruise ship full of elderly people. I tend to move fast and well… they don’t. But I’m home, back to my usual speed, and have some news to share.
We also have the T-Zero decal sheet available as a separate product as we’ve had a few requests. Those cost $8 each + shipping.
If you watch our Facebook page (you do watch it and like it right? It’s where the news comes first!) you already know that all but 4 preorders have shipped out today. Those 4 are waiting on more Sasha 1/24s to arrive next week then I’ll ship them. These 1/24 Sashas have new and improved molds (not that the others were bad, but we try to keep improving where we can) so while I feel bad about the delay, the end result will be very nice. So if you were waiting for the Sky Mark, Dystopic, Hornethopter, Dustbuster, or Aviators to be in-stock before ordering, your wait is over!
OMFG: Sasha 1/35 and 1/32 »
She’s coming back! Really! I know many of you have been waiting and the wait is almost over. Next week I’ll have the two masters back in-hand and will be shipping them to a new caster. This new caster is AMAZING with the small figures and did our Dustbuster, Dystopic and Aviators. Plus they’re fast so less waiting. Expect her to return in late February. Be sure to get on the notification list!
Welcome to another edition of iMech news! This time we talk about the recent iHobby show in Cleveland, OH which I attended last weekend, Ian McQue Sky Mark Preorders, Derek Stenning’s Dystopic Preorders, Orb Ship shipping and build-info, and upcoming restocks.
Ian McQue’s Sky Mark Preorder Date, Price »
The Ian McQue Sky Mark buoy will be available for preorder on 10.31.2012 aka Halloween! I received my tests of both the photoetch and the resin so expect unpainted build-up pics next week some time. Watch the Facebook page for the usual first-look. This kit comes with two large frets of photoetch for construction, brass rod, and blinking red LEDs for those wanting to light it.
Sky Mark Price:
This little guy is best in pairs IMO so we’ll offering the kit’s first edition of 100 kits at $60 each or two for $100 USD + Shipping. We suspect these will go fast due to the amount of notification requests, amount of Remora’s sold, and the low price. They should be shipping some time in November.
We’re getting close on Dystopic! I should have the first batch of resin in a week to two. After that I can begin the instruction sheet and boxing. I’m having two casters work on this to keep the costs as low as I can manage. We’re estimating that Dystopic will cost $210 USD + shipping. What you get though is well worth it! A large 1/6 scale figure kit overflowing with fine detail and texture, wire, decals, laser-cut clear flower, and possibly PE as well. We’ll start the preorder event on 11.5.2012 as by then we should have a better idea of the final costs.
I received the initial samples of the Orb Ship resin this weekend as well as the production photoetch frets. It’s going together really well and I’ve already got the lighting done and the laser-cut windows in place with their PE frames. Check out the video and images of my pre-release build below.
Originally we had planned for the canopy to be a vacuformed piece. Well, that didn’t work out so well so we’ve decided to go with a resin canopy. Blappy is doing an amazing job on it so I thought I’d share the results.Production is ongoing but we hope to be shipping these in about 3 weeks from today.
I was invited by one of my distributors, Tom Grossman of Tag Team Hobbies, to come to the iHobby Expo in Cleveland, OH and display, sell some of our wares. The show was a lot of fun and the Tag Team guys couldn’t have been nicer. I got a chance to meet some of you, shocked a few that didn’t realize that I am also FichtenFoo, and got some great ideas from the other exhibitors for future releases. Here’s a few pics.
Luca Zampriolo’s Kastor Hovertank is going back into production this week. We should have them restocked in about 4-6 weeks so watch this space and fill out the Notify Me to get an email when the restock preorder starts.

Hi everyone! I’ve been on a family vacation to the beach this past week so haven’t been as in-touch as usual. Hotel had great wi-fi of course, but the netbook I took is crap! Got back yesterday after a 9-hour drive home with kids in the car (Fun!) and am getting to your emails and questions as fast as possible. Hopefully this post will help.
Today I’ve got preorder updates for Sasha and Deckhands, images of many master prints including the Red Star 47, Sasha and Barrio 1/24, and Dustbuster pilot, and probably a few more informational tidbits.

Red Star 47 »
Here’s the first images of the master print taken by Ownage prior to shipping. As soon as I receive it I’ll snap more images, create the photoetch parts (since I need to do measurements) then send it off to David Guertin for casting.
Here’s the first shot of the driver print taken by Ownage. Like the Red Star, as soon as I get it, more pics, PE design, then off to production at Collapse Industries.
Sasha and Barrio in 1/24 »
