Happy Halloween everyone! I have a few treats for you, and perhaps a trick as well… we’ll see!
Chrononaut Update! »
I got a treat yesterday in the form of a photo from the caster of the Chrononaut casting (sans T-Rex) for me to confirm all the parts are there. Looks great and means we’re still on schedule for mid-November. Also am done with the instructions/label designs! Preorder the Chrononaut here while you can!
Preorder the Chrononaut here while you can!
Walrus Update »
Another treat is the final figure for Christophe Arnold’s Walrus and Figure Set. This will be up for preorders in early December if all goes well.
Her Majesty’s L’Estafette »
This is turning into quite the trick… I’m waiting to hear back from the 3D printer on the status of this, so as soon as I know more, you will too. Get on the notification list by clicking Notify Me here.
Ian McQue Waldo 2nd Edition Preorders »
Surprise! The Waldo is coming back! Preorder the 2nd Edition here. ETA Mid December… probably will not arrive in time for pre-xmas shipping. Sorry! In related news, we’re going to have 50 of the Waldo figure available as a stand-alone figure when the Waldo comes in. No preorder available for him yet, but stay tuned!
Deckhands Series 1 Reprint »
The 1st Edition Deckhands are sold-out and before I can do more I need to have them reprinted. The previous caster for those (who I no longer employ) broke some of the masters. The next edition will be all new prints and from the same caster I’ve been using for our newer figures such as the latest Sasha relrelease, Pawn Brigade, Flight Ready, Ground Crew, Aviators and Submariners. Not to mention the Waldo and it’s figure. They specialize in tiny parts so these will be an improvement over the originals. Not that the originals is bad, but these will certainly be better. Get on the Notify Me system for these here.
I’ve been begging Ian for a Series 2 of Deckhands and hope to have those with the next new ship release. Stay tuned!
Hi everyone! A little bit of preorder news for you! Both of these will be available for preorder 6.28 and will ship in early August 2012.
Adrian Smith’s Frankenstein »
The wait is almost over for this massive beast! Adrian Smith’s Frankenstein is 12″ tall (not including base height) and features over 50 parts, real chain mail and chain. There’s 3/4 gallon of resin used in each kit if that gives you an idea of the mass. Due to the weight, international shipping costs will be somewhat higher than usual. Click here for the Frankenstein preorder page »
Ian McQue’s Remora 3rd Edition »
The Remora 3rd run will be available for preordering Thursday June 28th 2012 around 10-11 AM EST. The price is still $150 + shipping. Don’t forget to add a set of the 1/35 Ian McQue Deckhands to your order to toil away on your airship, swab the deck, and maybe clean up some of that rust. There are also a few prints of the Remora artwork available for purchase. Click here for the Remora preorder page »
Happy Memorial Day to those of us in the States. In this update we’ve got info on the Miguel Lopez Dustbuster, Dmitry Parkin Vampire, and Kallamity Kastor! Also preorder info for Sasha and the Deckhands.
Miguel Lopez Dustbuster »
Ownage sent me an image today of the Dustbuster final primed print. Looks great and the Campbell’s soup can is a great universal scale device. The print looks cool and I for one can’t wait to paint up this little guy after production!
Dmitry Parkin Vampire »
Rick Cantu sent me a few images of his finished Vampire build-up. It turned out awesome so I wanted to share. Thanks Rick!
Kallamity Kastor »
I (FichtenFoo) finished up my build-up of the Luca Zampriolo (Kallamity) Kastor this weekend. Here’s the final images. I based my build-up on the Ian McQue painting on the instructions and art-card. Details on the build-up here.
Preorder Info »
1/35 Sashas are in production finally and I should have those ready to ship the week of June 11th. Same with the rest of the Deckhands. That caster sent me what he could before he had to prep for Wonderfest, and now that WF is past he’s back to work on them and the 1/24 scale versions.Barrio guy 1/35 will be in production soon as well.
If you had problems with your 1/32 Sasha resin and filled out the replacement form emailed to you, that resin will be shipping out in about 7 days. If you didn’t get the email (spam box got it most likely) let me know.
The 1/24 scale deckhands are now available for preorder. Final cost is $45.00 USD + shipping. These will start shipping early June 2012. Click here to order!

You heard us… Actually, you TOLD us and we listened! The Ian McQue’s Deckhands Series #1 will also be produced in 1/24 scale as well. They won’t be ready to ship when the 1/35 version is ready, but not more than a month or so after we think.
And because you asked for it, Jose Alves da Silva’s Sasha the Welding Girl and Barrio Guy will also be available in 1/24 around the same time.
So check back and watch for that or click the notify link over there in the sidebar.
1/35 Deckhands Series #1 Prints »
I received the prints yesterday, checked them and immediately shipped them off to one of our casters. We can expect these in about a month or 2 now so definitely sooner than the original July estimate. Watch for the preorders to begin. Here’s the photos I snapped of the prints before shipping them out:
